The feeling of sinking into a dark lake and the fear of disappearing into it, as well as the self questioning of whether am I actually sinking or emerging from it, is what prompted the pictorial compositions.

This is a pictorial diary documenting my psychic and emotional state, every day at 4 o'clock in the morning for a period of 40 days. Parallel to this process, I was documenting my early mornings for 3 months by means of video IR. The video work was entitled "Cada día a las 4".
