transdisciplinary artist

About
Guadalupe Aldrete is a transdisciplinary artist who works across performance, painting, installation, video and photography. Her ongoing body of work, Performative Landscapes, is a continuous field of interconnected pieces in which body, space and image are in constant dialogue.

Her works move between performative experience and material articulation. Textiles, pigments, metallic foils, ceramics and voice are not understood as traces, but as active agents that carry, translate and generate embodied experience. Guadalupe's works emerge from her ongoing exploration of ancestral memory, migration and the enduring nature of human connection, extending from and beyond the personal to address shared and collective experiences.
