​Drifting from personal to political, Guadalupe's work focuses on exploring methods to break down and capture moments of her past and present. Her work does not only talk about her, but about issues affecting bigger groups of people. Due to this auto-ethnographic research (a continuous process of self-observation) her works are not created as isolated pieces but as part of an integral process of production. For this, the artist uses her body as an experimental field, as sample and tool.

Formerly known as Lala Nomada, Guadalupe is a Mexican artist currently based in Vienna. Her work has been presented internationally in several art festivals and exhibitions, in the framework of individual and collaborative projects.
