This series of sculptures were created by reproducing the positions I was forced to take and other positions I wish I could have taken to give birth to my daughter. 

For me their parallel characteristics of fragility and hardness materialize that moment in which a woman's body is torn in two to remove its contents... like the eggshells that after being emptied are thrown in the bin.
